I took your changes with a couple of modifications, mainly split them into separate Git each and reworded the changelog entries. I have also pushed it all to Salsa: https://salsa.debian.org/debian/mcu8051ide.git One change I had to back out was the binary "patch" for the manpage. I’m not sure how well the `include-binaries` feature you used works, but I’ve never used it before, and dgit (which I use to upload packages) refused to allow me to proceed, so I reverted to the changed manpage residing in debian/.
