(please note i dont work on debichem nor ever touched it before, so this is mostly guess-work :) from https://salsa.debian.org/blends-team/debichem/-/commit/c093c22a1ec7ae6b79442a6f32809e58bc942902#58ef006ab62b83b4bec5d81fe5b32c3b4c2d1cc2 it looks like previously there was no Section in d/control (blends may have evolved since early releases to include it), so probably overrides assigned to those bin pkgs a default one. I'm opening this ticket (as i've opened several others in the past) because PTS mention the overrides disparity and they are indeed metapackages. Is there any specific reason for pushing back on this request?
