I think that Bastian Germann is my hero, he spotted that it was not right to close this bug report yet. And it is OK to have _valid_ bugreports open on a package. In https://github.com/crosswire/xiphos/issues/894#issuecomment-653862377 is Upstream asked for status on dbus-glib.
