We can use external programs such as picard to fix tags. But nicely generated file names by mange... script in abcde is out of reach now. What we need is post-process actions. I think many existing wishlist/wontfix requests such as #129624 #170750 can be addressed by this approach and this is consistent with abcde design. But this is still a major task. I made a quick short script for post-process for "abcde -N -o m4a" results. (No other format support now) This can work with picard updated tags, replace and add cover.jpg, and rename file names with any mange rule you chose, and update tags manually. So this may be a nice addition to scripts in examples. script attached as an explanation of my wish.
