Erm. I dunno, that's the first time I see this error message. Could you try to run the following commands and send me their output?
I just reinstalled, and it seems to be working now.
I wonder if it had anything to do with the fact that I was using a cisco VPN over wireless... next time I'm on campus (which uses the cisco VPN to provide authenticated wireless access) I might give reinstallation a try.
