This is incorrect, the above upstream issue is for 0x806eb. The one for 0x806ec is this: https://github.com/intel/Intel-Linux-Processor-Microcode-Data-Files/issues/24 Although the report upstream mentions hangs already with revision 0xca, which contradicts this Debian bug report.
