Hi, I can reproduce this bug with any video when I use a *.srt subtitle, if I "browse" the video either with the mouse and the toolbar or with the keybord, kaffeine will freeze.
I can't however make kaffeine freeze without a subtitle. I just installed xine-ui to test, and it hasn't freezed in the same conditions.
