Package: ansible
Version: 2.7.7+dfsg-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

I'm reporting this mostly to document it for users of the version in
buster, although a stable update would be nice ;)

As per the title, the chroot connection module fails with

    ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'distutils.spawn'

if python3-distutils is not installed. According to the changelog this
was fixed in 2.9.6+dfsg-1, so I'm trying to mark the bug accordingly.

In case I got the BTS syntax wrong I will fix the versioning info after
receiving the acknowledgement mail.

Kind regards,
Andrei
