When I changed my GTK theme to Adwaita-Dark much of the UI text became
unreadable. It appears that some UI elements are specified for
particular colors while others are left with default values. This
resulted in things like white text on white background, which was
impossible to read.
I may try to fix this myself, but I am not sure when I may find time.
I can reproduce the problem.
Screen copy attached.
I have no idea how to fix it. I reported the issue upstream in
https://www.grisbi.org/bugsreports/view.php?id=1980
If you know how to fix it please share your knowledge. I may try to fix it
myself.
I don't know how to fix it, as I've never developed anything for GTK.
That said, it seems like a good learning opportunity, so I may make an
attempt when I can find some time.
Nothing is better than your own motivation to fix a bug :-)
Feel free to ask for help on the Grisbi developer list at
http://listes.grisbi.org/mailman/listinfo/devel
or access the upstream project on github at https://github.com/grisbi/grisbi
This bug is now fixed upstream.
I will close it when the new upstream version is available in Debian.
It may already be fixed in version 1.9.91 available in Debian experimental
https://packages.debian.org/experimental/grisbi
Bye
