Sorry for taking so long to deal with this patch. There are two problems: * I am not able to open the .odt file attached to the bug report, so I would have no way to verify whether my patched version would work. Can you tell me how to open this file? I recognize it as a zip file containing open office xml, but OpenOffice 2.0 as I have installed on sid does not recognize this file. Since someone obviously already knows what to do, I'm not going to spend the time trying to figure it out. Maybe I'm missing some piece of openoffice? * It appears that the bug has been reopened because the patch was either incorrect or insufficient. Will you post a note to this bug in debian if/when a full resolution is found? If you can provide information about how I open the .odt file or which of the many dozens of openoffice.org packages I need installed to open this file, that would be most helpful. At the same time, I'd be interested in your recommendation as to whether I should upload a new openoffice.org that includes this patch. Note that debian sid currently has ICU 3.4.1. I don't know whether this problem may have been fixed upstream in that version, though it seems unlikely.
