Are you sure this is fixed?
I still have firefox in English on my system using the French locales
(fr_BE)
If that matters, the language pack is not appearing in the add-ons
dialog and doing "firefox
/usr/lib/firefox/browser/extensions/langpack...@firefox.mozilla.org.xpi"
result in firefox telling me it's not verified
To be able to get the language pack in the add-ons dialog, I had to set
extensions.langpacks.signatures.required to false. The I did:
1. Set the language to French in the preferences
2. Delete the language pack that was downloaded in the Add-ons dialog
3. Restart firefox
4. Firefox is in French and the language pack from the debian package
is now present in the list (and cannot be deleted)
5. Set extensions.langpacks.signatures.required back to true
6. Restart firefox
7. Firefox is still in French and is still using the language pack from
the debian package
So IMVHO, this is not fixed somehow
