AFAIK, however, AMD seemd to have upstreamed their LLVM bits specific to LLVM https://github.com/RadeonOpenCompute/hcc/issues/1421 https://github.com/RadeonOpenCompute/hcc#deprecation-notice I asked the corresponding Gentoo developer and he confirms that.
