This may be related to the issue I have with gucharmap: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=960633 which does not show any glyph from Fantasque Sans Mono, perhaps due to the chosen font format (woff, which seems to be the case only with Fantasque Sans Mono).
