Package: strace
Version: 4.5.12-1
Severity: minor
Tags: upstream

strace allows an arbitrarily large number of commandline arguments (up
to the system limit); the first argument that doesn't begin with a '-'
is interpretted as the command, and passed as the arguments to that
command.

However, when -p is used, no argument should fail to begin with '-'
(including the null string argument), and strace should fail
indicating error when -p is given and the last argument beginning with
'-' is not the last argument (with the expected and useful
interpretation for arguments' arguments).
