Looking at a handful of hosts that TTBOMK leave this setting as is, I
see values of 30732, 31730, 31796, and in one case 96081.  I haven't
traced how the kernel arrives at them, and concede that the exact values
probably don't matter much and that it may be just as well if they're
not so convenient to keep.
