to me and #flashrom is not misleading at all. I don't think upstream wants to change something here. If you disagree, we can forward it to the bug tracking of flashrom.I'm sure strace flashrom yourparameters would give you details, what I/O ports
it wants to access, but your setup refuses it access to. Best,
