Package: routine-update Version: 0.0.2 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
i was happy to learn about the existance of routine-update, and wanted to start to integrate it into my packaging workflow. However, it failed me with the first package i tried (pd-csound), with the following error: > E: Uscan did not return tarball name However, my uscan works nicely. It seems that the parsing of the output of `uscan` for a tarball fails. I guess this is because the relevant portion of uscan spans multiple lines: ~~~sh $ uscan --verbose | grep -A1 -e 'Package is up to date' uscan info: => Package is up to date for from https://github.com/csound/csound_pd/archive/1.01.0.tar.gz ~~~ The used `uscan` is 2.20.2 -- System Information: Debian Release: bullseye/sid APT prefers unstable-debug APT policy: (500, 'unstable-debug'), (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 5.5.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_WARN, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=C.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=C.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=C.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages routine-update depends on: ii cme 1.031-1 ii devscripts 2.20.2 ii dpkg-dev 1.19.7 ii fakeroot 1.24-1 ii git 1:2.26.1-1 ii git-buildpackage 0.9.19 ii libconfig-model-dpkg-perl 2.132 ii lintian-brush 0.60 ii pristine-tar 1.47 ii quilt 0.66-2 routine-update recommends no packages. routine-update suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
