I disagree. The indices take a substantial amount of disk space -- the same on full-blown GUI systems and minimal embedded ones. Thus, keeping a meaningless field is non-negligible waste. Let's remove Priority from source indices altogether, and axe "optional" and "extra" from binary indices as well.
