blastem fails to cross build from source, because the upstream Makefile detects the processor architecture using uname. The debian/rules should pass a reasonable CPU variable to make to fix that. After doing so, cross builds fails in the same way as native builds (e.g. for ppc64el). Please consider applying the attached patch. Helmut
