Package: scummvm Version: 2.0.0+dfsg-2 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
I have been running several of Sierra's old Leisure Suit Larry games using scummvm, and have tried the version from sid as well as that in buster. It is possible that you can save the game in a slot ID of 0. However, attempting to restore from that slot fails, as it reports: WARNING: Savegame ID 0 not found! ... and play continues from where you were when you called for the restore. This was first spotted by me in Leisure Suit Larry 5, but affects 2, 3 and the SCI remake of 1. The AGI version of 1 is not affected. The only workaround is to make sure you have saved the game in a different slot, as others can be restored successfully. -- System Information: Debian Release: 10.3 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-8-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages scummvm depends on: ii libasound2 1.1.8-1 ii libc6 2.28-10 ii libfaad2 2.8.8-3 ii libflac8 1.3.2-3 ii libfluidsynth1 1.1.11-1 ii libfreetype6 2.9.1-3+deb10u1 ii libgcc1 1:8.3.0-6 ii libjpeg62-turbo 1:1.5.2-2+b1 ii libmad0 0.15.1b-10 ii libmpeg2-4 0.5.1-8 ii libogg0 1.3.2-1+b1 ii libpng16-16 1.6.36-6 ii libsdl2-2.0-0 2.0.9+dfsg1-1 ii libsndio7.0 1.5.0-3 ii libstdc++6 8.3.0-6 ii libtheora0 1.1.1+dfsg.1-15 ii libvorbis0a 1.3.6-2 ii libvorbisfile3 1.3.6-2 ii scummvm-data 2.0.0+dfsg-2 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.11.dfsg-1 scummvm recommends no packages.
