Package: vip-manager Version: 0.6+ds-3 Severity: wishlist Hi Michael et al.,
is there a reason you are passing all parameters explicitly [1] to vip-manager instead of using the `-config` switch to pass the .yml file directly to vip-manager, as upstream does [2]? If there isn't a specifig reason to be passing parameters explicitly then I'd propose to switch to `-config` instead. Thanks a lot! *t [1] https://salsa.debian.org/postgresql/vip-manager/-/blob/master/debian/vip-manager@.service#L19 [2] https://github.com/cybertec-postgresql/vip-manager/blob/c98501181d4cfb0504357d1841028d260569b478/package/scripts/vip-manager.service#L9 -- System Information: Debian Release: 10.3 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-8-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=de_CH.utf8, LC_CTYPE=de_CH.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=de_CH:de (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled
