Hi, just wanted to check if there is anything I can do to improve the chance that this patch could get accepted? I'm happy to rework or add tests as needed. My use-case is that I maintain a package that uses a symlink for the "debian" dir and after each gbp update I apply my patch (which is not a big deal, just would be slightly easier to not have to do it :)
