We recently found out there is an issue with the license of one of xow's files, upstream discussion is available here: https://github.com/medusalix/xow/issues/15#issuecomment-602301493 The bulk of it is that upstream has a third party binary blob with unknown license, which upstream previously thought had a DFSG compliant one. I'm asking for the removal of the package until the issue is resolved, when that happens I will submit the package to NEW once again. This is a non-free package which is not on testing and it's not whitelisted on our build infrastructure. Although upstream still has the file and lists the wrong license, I'm being cautious here and asking for the removal because it's a confirmed issue. $ dak rm -Rn xow Will remove the following packages from unstable: xow | 0.3-3 | source Maintainer: Samuel Henrique <samuel...@debian.org> ------------------- Reason ------------------- ---------------------------------------------- Checking reverse dependencies...
