SYSTEMD_LOG_LEVEL=$log_level /lib/systemd/systemd-udevd --daemon --resolve-names=never I.e. it should not cause any such error messages. So I assume your initramfs is modified in a way which overrides the way systemd-udevd is started. You should investigate in that direction and check how your initramfs is assembled.
