It is confusing to set an alternative editor but the editor behaves like an alternative has never been set. > We can't integrate that link with 'update-alternatives --config editor', > but you can adjust it yourself and pick the desired version that way. Probably it would be best if the joe package would not provide all those alternatives if the editorrc cannot be integrated into the update-alternatives system.
