Package: uptimed Version: 1:0.3.3-8 Severity: normal At configuration time, before package installation, I've choosed to receive email every time a milestone is reached and every time a record is broken.
Looking in /etc/uptimed.conf file, i see this: # Send email? (0 = no way, 1 = yes please!, 2 = only for milestones, # 3 = only for records) SEND_EMAIL=0 that seems to say "you will never recieve any emails from uptimed", but this is not what I wanted... After dpkg-reconfigure uptimed and set again the same paramteres, I see # Send email? (0 = no way, 1 = yes please!, 2 = only for milestones, # 3 = only for records) SEND_EMAIL=1 as wanted... -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.15-1-686-smp Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages uptimed depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.4.48 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 2.3.5-6 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libuptimed 1:0.3.3-8 Library for uptimed uptimed recommends no packages. -- debconf information: * uptimed/mail/do_mail: Never * uptimed/mail/address: [EMAIL PROTECTED] uptimed/interval: 60 * uptimed/mail/milestones_info: * uptimed/maxrecords: 200 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
