Package: libytnef0 Version: 1.9.3-1+b1 Control: affects -1 src:geary As reported on https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/geary/issues/726, the powerpc build of geary has a test failure with:
``` ok 211 /engine/Geary.RFC822.MessageTest/text_html_as_html ok 212 /engine/Geary.RFC822.MessageTest/text_html_as_plain ERROR: Signature does not match. Not TNEF. Bail out! geary:ERROR:test/9f86d08@@test-lib@sta/test-case.c:587:assert_true: code should not be reached --- stderr --- geary-Message: 23:47:05.297: imap-db-database.vala:122: Garbage collection of IMAP database /tmp/geary-imap-db-database-test-EFV3G0/geary-0.6-db/geary.db failed: Operation was cancelled Expected true ** geary:ERROR:test/9f86d08@@test-lib@sta/test-case.c:587:assert_true: code should not be reached ------- ``` Geary upstream says "this is a ytnef bug, the Signature does not match error is from its source, not Geary's" Maybe ytnef doesn't work on a bigendian platform? I don't see any effective test suite in the libytnef source to know whether to expect the code to be functional there. --dkg
