looks perfectly fine to me in principle. I'm familiar with dpkg's colouring which sticks to the common values of "\033[1;31m" (red+bold) for error and "\033[1;33m" (yellow+bold) for warnings, which is what I'm sure you've probably used also and is inline with my expectations :)
