Package: libvtk7.1 Version: 7.1.1+dfsg1-12 I’m posting after suggestion from the Ubuntu team (https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/vtk7/+question/689223). recently switched to using xdmf3 instead of xdmf in a library I’m working on, and I started to get this error with libvtk7.1 package:
``` CMake Error at /usr/lib/cmake/vtk-7.1/vtkModuleAPI.cmake:120 (message): Requested modules not available: vtkIOXdmf3 ``` In my opinion the package should also ship the xdmf3 libraries, since they’re available upstream: https://github.com/Kitware/VTK/tree/v7.1.1/ThirdParty/xdmf3 Some diagnostics: ``` uname -a: Linux c7e29d71ba78 4.4.0-174-generic #204-Ubuntu SMP Wed Jan 29 06:41:01 UTC 2020 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux lsb_release -crid: Distributor ID: Ubuntu Description: Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS Release: 18.04 Codename: bionic apt-cache policy vtk7 libvtk7-dev: vtk7: Installed: 7.1.1+dfsg1-2 Candidate: 7.1.1+dfsg1-2 Version table: *** 7.1.1+dfsg1-2 500 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu bionic/universe amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status libvtk7-dev: Installed: 7.1.1+dfsg1-2 Candidate: 7.1.1+dfsg1-2 Version table: *** 7.1.1+dfsg1-2 500 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu bionic/universe amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ``` _ -. .´ |∞∞∞∞ ', ; |∞∞∞∞∞∞ ˜˜ |∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞ RdB ,., |∞∞∞∞∞∞ .'
