Yes, the packages are outdated now. Will you test now if I build new
packages?
I have tested upgrade from jessie 1.3.5-1.1+deb8u2 (my vmware installation)
- to 1.3.5b-4+deb9u3 (in stretch) hanged.
- to 1.3.5b-4+deb9u1 from the page above worked fine.
I assume your patch works fine.
