Package: primus Version: 0~20150328-9 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
Dear Maintainer, As stated in bug #888020 primus is currently not compatible with the GLVND variants of the GLX drivers. As a result, primus was tagged as breaking libgl1-nvidia-glvnd-glx. As I understand, nvidia is deprecating the non-GLVND variants [1] and version 430 is the last of this kind. And as far as I know, in debian, the latest non-GLVND version available is the 418.74-1 and is in the stable release. The only other version available in debian testing and sid is currently the GLVND variant 440.59-1. Meaning that primus is currently completely unusable with debian testing and sid. I would therefore suggest to reevaluate the "breaks:" tags and find a way to make primus support GLVND. I mean. I think that's the only way.
