Package: fprintd Version: 0.9.0-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
According https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/libfprint/libfprint/issues/235 I'm not able even to register my fingerprint. fprintd-enroll viktar gives the only 1 try: Using device /net/reactivated/Fprint/Device/0 Enrolling right-index-finger finger. Enroll result: enroll-stage-passed and gangs. Benjamin Berg <git...@gitlab.freedesktop.org> answered that 0.8.x is really outdated. I installed the freshest one from testing repository (0.9.x) and unfortunately not any luck. Benjamin Berg mentioned that it could be fixed when libfprint/fprintd 1.90 (or 2.0) hit Debian. Could you clarify is it going to be updated in Debian ? Thank you and have a good day :) -- System Information: Debian Release: 10.3 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'proposed-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-8-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=ru (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages fprintd depends on: ii dbus 1.12.16-1 ii libc6 2.28-10 ii libdbus-1-3 1.12.16-1 ii libdbus-glib-1-2 0.110-4 ii libfprint0 1:1.0-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.58.3-2+deb10u2 ii libpolkit-gobject-1-0 0.105-25 ii policykit-1 0.105-25 fprintd recommends no packages. fprintd suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
