The docs can be viewed on a web browser (I'm using Firefox) by specifying the link to the directory containing *html files
For instance, this is the index page link where gtkmm doc is installed on my local folder: file:///usr/share/doc/libgtkmm-3.0-doc/reference/html/index.html
