For what it is worth:

1. I created the set_mempolicy.2, get_mempolicy.2, and mbind.2 
   pages in man-pages based on versions taken from the numa 
   package, written by Andi Kleen.  I did this on the 
   rationale that man-pages should document all system calls.

2. As far as I am aware, the man-pages versions of these pages 
   contain all of the information that was in the original 
   'numa' pages, and some extra information that I added after 
   consulting with Andi.

3. I've asked Andi if man-pages could take over "ownership" of 
   those three pages (but _not_ numa.3).  He agreed (a little 
   reluctantly), and I believe that these three pages will be 
   removed in a future version of the numa pakage.
