And why so?

And why exactly?

You seem to have a mission. Please show a Debian wiki page or something
similar to motivate me. At the moment I see no benefits, all that sounds
like just enforcing a systemd specific solution without need.

The actual plan of mine was to get rid of the cron jobs whatsoever. Run
the required tasks not based on a dumb time plan but purely based on the
collected information. That also applies to the access logs, they would
be migrated to a database (systemd fans might also try to advocate here
but I still have not seen the benefits of its log storage).
