As soon as I click to start the wizard, LibreOffice closes and the Document Recovery window open up saying: "Due to an error, LibreOffice crashed..." Then the recovery process starts. I've never used the mail merge function before, so I don't know if it worked with previous LibreOffice versions. I've tryed starting LibreOffice from the terminal with this command line: soffice --writer An this is the output: -------------- javaldx: Could not find a Java Runtime Environment! Please ensure that a JVM and the package libreoffice-java-common is installed. If it is already installed then try removing ~/.config/libreoffice/4/user/config/javasettings_Linux_*.xml Warning: failed to read path from javaldx terminate called without an active exception -------------- The message "terminate called without an active exception" is printed when the crash happens. I've never installed Java and I prefer to not have to. And searching around I've not found evidence that this function depends on Java: I've read it's written in python. Please, tell me if I'm wrong.
