Hi Josh. I started some work on integrating and testing your proposed changes in a private branch at https://salsa.debian.org/noahm/linux/tree/cloud-optimizations-bug947759, but haven't gotten to the point of creating an MR yet. I can likely pick this up again this week, but if you create one first, that's fine too. One thing to note is that MR !193 changes the layout of the cloud configs as it introduces an arm64 cloud flavour.
