Source: goffice Version: 0.10.46-1 Hi,
I need to ask, since this is so weird: Build-Depends: debhelper (>= 12~) ,dpkg-dev (>= 1.16.1.1) ,gobject-introspection (>= 1.41.4) ,gtk-doc-tools ,intltool (>= 0.35.0) ,libcairo2-dev (>= 1.10.0) ,libcairo2-doc ,libgirepository1.0-dev ,libglib2.0-dev (>= 2.28.0) ,libglib2.0-doc ,libgsf-1-dev (>= 1.14.25-2) ,libgtk-3-dev ,libgtk-3-doc ,libpango1.0-dev ,libpango1.0-doc ,librsvg2-dev ,libxext-dev ,libxml-parser-perl ,libxml2-dev ,libxml2-doc ,libxrender-dev ,libxslt1-dev | libxslt-dev you build-depend on libcairo2-doc, libglib2.0-doc, libgtk-3-doc, libpango1.0-doc and libxml2-doc. Is that really necessary? It just came to bite me while doing rebuilds for libxml2, since I didn't place the -doc package in the testing repository, figuring nothing would care about it. What a surprise! I can't really imagine anything that would care about documentations during a build, but please prove me wrong. :) However, I must remind you that according to the Debian Policy nothing can depend nor assume the content of /usr/share/doc/ for proper functioning, as that directory could be excluded in the dpkg configuration, and that's considered valid according to the Policy. -- regards, Mattia Rizzolo GPG Key: 66AE 2B4A FCCF 3F52 DA18 4D18 4B04 3FCD B944 4540 .''`.
