One of the extra steps when reintroducing packages is to unarchive and reopen any bugs that were closed by the FTP Masters with the +rm version. Then those bugs should be either kept open until they are fixed or marked as fixed in the first new upload. https://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/developers-reference/pkgs.html#reintroducing-pkgs Manually going through all the bugs, checking if they are archived, checking if their closed version ends in +rm and then emitting the right unarchive and reopen commands in the right order is tedious. It would be nice to have a command something like this: bts reintroduced fontmatrix Send these commands to the BTS control bot: package fontmatrix unarchive 744698 reopen 744698 unarchive 787350 reopen 787350 ⋮ -- bye, pabs https://wiki.debian.org/PaulWise
