Package: gnome-screenshot Version: 3.34.0-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
while taking a screenshot in area mode on wayland gnome the blue selection that is present while tragging the area that should be screenshot is included in the final screenshot. The problem does not arise when using x11 gnome. Attached screenshots show the difference: PNG 18-18-36 was taken on wayland gnome and includes the blue selection PNG 18-20-45 was taken on x11 gnome and not includes the selection Best Regards, Christoph -- System Information: Debian Release: bullseye/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing'), (50, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 5.4.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB:en (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages gnome-screenshot depends on: ii dconf-gsettings-backend [gsettings-backend] 0.34.0-2 ii libc6 2.29-7 ii libcairo2 1.16.0-4 ii libcanberra-gtk3-0 0.30-7 ii libcanberra0 0.30-7 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.40.0+dfsg-2 ii libglib2.0-0 2.62.4-1 ii libgtk-3-0 3.24.13-1 ii libx11-6 2:1.6.8-1 ii libxext6 2:1.3.3-1+b2 gnome-screenshot recommends no packages. gnome-screenshot suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
