Package: cssc Version: 1.4.0-6 Followup-For: Bug #557427 One reason why these utilities might be added to PATH is that the make utility expects them to be there. The $(GET) variable, for instance, is set to "get" and not to "sccs get".
I think it's reasonable to expect that if I install a package, it should integrate to the system out-of-the-box and not require me to set up the appropriate paths.
