Can you please confirm which specific version you have tested ?
I pushed version 0.8.3 to Unstable yesterday. That's the other thing
you can try out.

I do not have NVMe devices so you'll have to help debug this issue.
When preparing the new version (0.8.3) of multipath-tools, I realized
that the there were some commits added lately. I am not sure if the
older version of multipath-tools had support for NVMe devices.

I also recollect sg3-utils added support for NVMe devices only in the
last version.

Please run multipath-tools in debug mode and see if it provides any
pointers.
