I've changed the default branch and elevated your permissions to "Maintainer" in case you need to make similar changes in the future. I much prefer "master" as a default branch (I'm strongly against DEP-14). > Did you see there is a LICENSE file in the root of the upstream Github > repository? For projects whose only website is a Github repo with a LICENSE > file, is it necessary to add this a comment like this to d/copyright? License is not the same as copyright. Upstream did not include the full text of the license. If you read the full text [1], in the APPENDIX where it explains how to apply the license it says to add a copyright statement that upstream neglected to do. I recommend to follow-up with upstream regarding explicit copyright statement (which is currently missing).
