thanks for asking. I double checked, and indeed patch 4 and 5 had not been in the 0.9.12 release whereas patch 6 is included.
Thus, I just uploaded 0.9.12+dfsg-7 to unstable adding patch 4 and 5 cherry-picked from upstream. As said above, patch 6 has already been in unstable as part of the 0.9.12 upstream release.
