Package: codespell Version: 1.16.0-1 Severity: normal Hello,
I wanted to try out codespell. I thought: "this code is in git, so I'll just run it, and see from the diff what I need to tweak". Then codespell started correcting spelling in files inside .git, and I found myself with a broken repository. I suggest that the contents of .git directories, or version control system directories in general, should by default, or always, be skipped.
