Dear maintainer,
I'm afraid I won't be able to do so: I'm working with a dedicated cloud
server (so no physical access) and I'll need to send a support request
every time I'll have some trouble or need to shutdown this machine.
Anyway I can give you as much details as I have so far:
When I had the warm reboot issue with intel-microcode
3.20191112.1~deb10u1 I reverted to the stable version 3.20190618.1 which
is working fine (I was able to reboot properly).
When you closed this issue with 3.20191115.2~deb10u1 patch (or
"downgrade"), I updated intel-microcode from 3.20190618.1 to
3.20191115.2~deb10u1. If I understand, I shouldn't have had any trouble
doing so has 3.20190618.1 nor 3.20191115.2~deb10u1 should hang but
still, it hanged. So I reverted back again to 3.20190618.1.
I think these won't help at all as I'm not running 3.20191115.2~deb10u1
right now. What I may do (don't know if it will help) is to install
3.20191115.2~deb10u1 without any reboot then running the following and
revert back to 3.20190618.1 as I'm afraid it will hang again...
journalctl -k -b | grep -i microcode

The update-initramfs -u -kall *SHOULD* ensure the microcode update table
is replaced. We use the iucode_tool -tr command to cross-check that.
The other commands shall tell us what microcode revision is running on
the processor, and whether it was updated on boot by the kernel or the
BIOS/UEFI.
