Never noticed that as I use Debian's adduser but this is pretty much
weird to me, yes.

Let's officially open a bug (this is what you'd better have done but
thanks anyway for reporting). I even give this an important severity.

Dalibor, I'll assign you as bug submitter, as soon as I'll receive the
bug number, if you don't mind

Nicolas, Tomasz? Advices? Please better wait for the official bug
number and answer to it.
