Exact same Music player(s) (hardware+firmware) do work/sync with no issues on
Debian 'Jessie' and 'Stretch' as of right now.

Music player(s) tested: Sony NWZ-S544 and no-name Chinese made generic MP3
player.
Protocol used: MTP

Please sonsider bringing back MTP-type communication with a usb mounted music
players in Debian Buster.
