Package: luakit Version: 1:2.1-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
I have (only just) noticed that I can no longer use luakit, as it appears to not function any longer. I have made sure to try without any pre-existing configuration, a clean reinstall, and my observation has been seconded by someone else on IRC. luakit terminal output: > $ luakit > [ 0.089561] I [core/luah]: Loading rc: /etc/xdg/luakit/rc.lua > [ 0.108781] I [lua/adblock]: found 0 filter lists > [ 0.122010] I [lua/styles]: found 0 user stylesheets > [ 0.123216] I [core/web_context]: Web process count: 4 > > ** (luakit:6276): WARNING **: 20:07:34.813: > webkit_web_context_set_web_process_count_limit is deprecated and does > nothing. Limiting the number of web processes is no longer possible for > security reasons The luakit main window is white/grey. The lua interface works fine. Trying to open any website does not result in change, a tcpdump on the interface does not see any outgoing traffic attempt. I assume this is a webkit API issue. -- System Information: Debian Release: 10.2 APT prefers stable APT policy: (990, 'stable'), (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'oldoldstable'), (500, 'oldstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-9-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_OOT_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_US.UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_US.UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: sysvinit (via /sbin/init) Versions of packages luakit depends on: ii libc6 2.28-10 ii libcairo2 1.16.0-4 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.38.1+dfsg-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.58.3-2+deb10u2 ii libgtk-3-0 3.24.5-1 ii libjavascriptcoregtk-4.0-18 2.26.2-1~deb10+1 ii libluajit-5.1-2 2.1.0~beta3+dfsg-5.1 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.42.4-7~deb10u1 ii libsoup2.4-1 2.64.2-2 ii libsqlite3-0 3.27.2-3 ii libwebkit2gtk-4.0-37 2.26.2-1~deb10+1 ii lua-filesystem [lua5.1-filesystem] 1.6.3-1 luakit recommends no packages. luakit suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
