Please don't: runit uses sysvinit scripts as a fallback for a missing runscript (with runscript I mean the native runit init scripts). Also as a side note, I suspect you are a bit underestimating the work needed to replace like ~1000 working scripts into their respective Debian packages. Regards, Lorenzo
